LOS BARLOU is a new company formed by three habitual of the catalan circus scene. Boni, Dani "Patillas" and Miner, with hyperbolic trajectories (Boni & Caroli, Los Galindos, Los Gingers, Los Elegants, etc.), have joined forces to start this new journey. Our first production is SET UP, a show filled with our trademark humor, seasoned with a different touch. With the artistic complicity of the master Piero Steiner, we have traveled through lands still unexplored by us, accompanied by our own characters.
Two different characters meet and create circus. Its long history, and its differences, make the shows acquire a particular atmosphere. Circus artisans who present their exceptional numbers linked in an original way. Live music, clown, physical theater, balances and a lot of circus.
Ateneu Popular 9 Barris has been producing, since 1996, a new circus show, different and for all audiences. We have a commitment with the circus since this old asphalt plant was occupied by the neighbors and vindicated for its social and cultural use.
